General Disciplinary Rules
No gift is allowed for teacher/any staff member on any of the occasion.
Reports on the student's attendance, conduct and progress are issued after each examination to the Parents/Guardians only. So, they are advised to collect it during P.T. Meet. Any alteration or correction of error/s can be rectified as per the school policy only.
lt is better that every student has to carry his/her tiffin. School does not permit the tiffin to be brought by someone else, even by parents/guardian, school prohibits beverages/nonveg item in campus.
Students must take care of the school property provided for their use and benefit, Electric lights, fans, and taps should be turned off when not in use. The concern student has to compensate for any damage done to the school belongings: building, furniture/s, equipment/s, apparatus/s, book/s etc.
All types of money transactions between students or staff without genuine reason comes within interdisciplinary ambit.
All the students must observe personal as well as community health rules. However the dustbins provided all over the campus must be used to keep the school premises clean.
Results of all Examinations are declared on prescribed dates during P.T. Meet, where parents / guardians can peruse the answer sheets. The answer sheets of the Annual Examinations can be scrutinized on request of concerned Parents/guardians as per the school policy on payment of the prescribed fee. Non performers can be detained or asked to switch over to some other school, however it occurs rarely.
Examination shall be in accordance with the guidelines of CBSE and tentative dates for the examination date sheet are intimated through diary, approximately 10 days earlier.
S.J.S. assesses its every student honestly as per the direction of CBSE in scholastic, co-scholastic and other extra-curricular activities including health and physical education and also gives proper time to discuss the progress of its students with their parents, scheduled on month end date.
The parents and guardians are advised to call on the principal, from time to time to discuss the matter regarding the academic performance and behaviour of their wards.
The school rules may be changed from time to time taking into consideration the interest of the students and institution and generally announced in morning assembly.
It is obligatory for the students to reach the school and enter the gate before it is closed. Any kind of indulgence or quarreling with the school staff, in this regard, is treated as an act of indiscipline.
The students are not expected to use the school uniform during private tuition's, shopping or visiting public places unless permitted by the school.
School provides the guidelines to maintain the uniformity & quality as well as the colour of the uniform. Half Sleeve prescribed Shirt (From April 01 to Oct. 30 Every Year) Full Sleeve prescribed Shirt (From Nov. 01 to Mar. 31 Every Year) Unisex White apron is mandatory for all the students studying in senior secondary sections for lab visit in school, moreover the unisex tracksuit is also inculcated for the students of primary to senior secondary sections for physical activity, Bow, Tie, School Belt, Black Shoes, prescribed Socks, School Blazer with approved school monogram during winter from Nov. 01, till the last day of Feb. Boys :Prescribed Navy Blue trousers, for Class Nursery & above with mid-waist around navel. 'Trousers bottom' between 15-17 inches (37.5-42.5 cms.) as per the increasing height gradient. Girls :Prescribed Navy Blue Skirt (up to Class II). Prescribed Navy Blue Divided Skirt Class III onwards (2 above the knee height) 1. For Girls :School Stockings in winter. 2. SchoolScarf/Cap maybe used duringwinter.(Matchingwith the trousers colour) 3. Girls are to use black hair band only. 4. For students of SIKH COMMUNITY Turban or Patka should be of prescribed navy blue colour only. 5. To maintain uniformity, quality and colour, school suggests the parents to purchase a few articles i.e. Bow, Tie, Belt, Socks, Monogram, Stockings from standard shops.
Generally information is given to parents through SMS/WHATSAPP, so they are required to update their mobile numbers timely with the office and fee counter.
